Name: Aetherius (Pronounced: ETHER-E-US)

Sealed: Aetherius's sealed form is a simple design. Being that of a new age look, while sheathed, Aetherius appears to be a long, katana shaped steel pole. When taken out of it's sheath, it's obvious that it is a very deadly sword. Even though the blade lacks a hand guard, it has superior control and speed. There is nothing notable about this katana, appearance other than a slight hint of dark energy. The steel that Aetherius is made of can suppress any form of aura with ease when the steel collides with another swords.

Shikai: This form is what Aetherius stays in for the most part. The sheathe is a highly decorated, black leather wrapped in a high-grade, superiorly tempered steel, much resembling titanium. The blade of Aetherius is darker in this form than it's sealed form, due to the higher saturation of a Dark Aura. At the top of the sheathe is a replica of a dragon made from the same material that the blade is made from. The blade is constantly sparking with electricity, sometimes glowing with a faint blow, or yellow tone. This is from Sakuras lightning based affinity being channeled through the hilt of the blade. On the sheathe, there is a finely decorated silver dragon, resembling that of the blades supposed spirit.

Bankai: Aetherius's Bankai is one of the most lethal Bankais known to mortals, though few have had the ability to even imagine the power it could hold, including her owner. The look of Aetherius's Bankai is that of a new-age survival blade. The blade being a Onyx coated Titanium, with the edge and upper part of the blade being a dark steel color. The edge of this sword is surprisingly sharp, being able to cut straight through even the hardest tempered steel with ease. The aura surrounding this form is a constant dark hue, the edge of the sword constantly emitting high amounts of a lightning based chakra. Once again, the blade of this sword is charged with a lightning based element, just like Shikai, but alot more powerful, causing entire charges of electricity to be seen instead of just crackles and pops. The handle of this blade offers forward extreme control with no downsides, while the blade of the sword is light and strong.

Spirit: The spirit of this sword has never once shown herself to anyone, although, many believe she has a dragon built design. Also, the decorations on the swords Shikai promote the thought of a dragon based spirit. The constant feel of electricty though, may determine what form of dragon she is though, whether she's the one you always see, or if she's the more serpentai form, commonly associated with the weather and lightning.

Background: Aetherius was once a long forgotten artifact, originating from a remote section of South Africa. It was once a highly regarded symbol, possibly having a connection to a godly figure, or being the godly figure itself. Unfortunately, all traces of whoever once worshiped the sword were nowhere to be found, yet the traps armed around the sword showed that it was once forbidden to be touched. People that knew of the temple knew of the origins though, and many people had a link to the people who once worshiped the sword. They believed it was the soul of a dragon, who would bless the people monthly for any and all good deeds, and curse those (or possibly kill them) who did wrong.
