Background:
Armand was born into one of Germania's finest prestige families; the von Fuerst. His family was such a success that eventually they would become the figurehead of the entire country. He was forced into military style training in his early years, which lasted until he was about fourteen, when his mother was killed killed. Armand, more than anyone in her family, was angered by her passing. Everyone had assumed that she had simply taken a bad fall, but Armand was the only one that knew saw what happened. Her father had killed with his bare hands. Armand never knew why, but he never forgave his Father. His father always saw Armand as his own legacy, for he had trained him so harshly that Armand at the age of fourteen could kill fifty grown men unarmed. This intense training had desensitized Armand, but watching his Father kill his Mother awoke his inner most hatred. Armand knew that his sister, Xusha, knew of what really happened, but noticed that she did nothing. She was the weakest link of their family, and he resented her for having been spoon-fed, while he was wrestling boars. Armand privately continued his training when his Father had stopped teaching him, pushing his own limits, but always coming second to his own brother, Astaroth. This made him push to become stronger, but the desire to kill his Father burned the brightest in his tainted heart. After some time, he privately challenged his Father to a battle to the death. Armand proved to be more than his father, Dämon** had anticipated, but was still defeated. Dämon told Armand that if he was ever to defeat him, he would have to sacrifice his humanity. His Father sparing his life left Armand with a deep feeling of being pathetic that couldn't be satiated without the death of Dämon. Armand returned home to a dinner prepared by Xusha, where she nursed his wounds, and he lied about their origin. Armand had kept his Mother's decaying skull in his room for some weeks, unable to accept her death even now. Each night Armand would open the container and look his death Mother in the eyes, and cry. One day, Xusha and Astaroth were arguing about some petty thing that didn't bother Armand, but knew what was to come. This was what Armand knew would be the last time he saw his family at peace with one another. His Father had already moved on, and late at night, Armand snuck out, leaving his two siblings to fend for themselves.

Being alone was a lot more difficult for Armand than he had thought it would be. His Father would often throw him out some place in the wilderness and tell him to return home, but that experience didn't help his biggest problem, food. Armand had never learned how to cook before, and eating raw meat and fish only made him ill. He struggled to travel, until he managed to steal a boat with some rations on it. He crossed the blue waters of the Rhine on this boat, but when he reached a new mysterious city, he soon learned what being poor was like. He'd ended up in France, and the language barrier became apparent almost immediately. He finally met a man who spoke his native German, who offered to teach him a reasonable amount of French in exchange for his boat, the only place Armand had to sleep. Armand took the deal, thinking it would help him survive for the time being. Armand had soon learned how to speak French, and some years passed by without incident, until the night Armand's life ended. Armand was walking through the public gardens, as he usually did to think of the past, when he was attacked by a vile creature. This creature drank from his blood, and killed him. Armand awoke some time later, dismissing it as a dream. He later heard rumors of a creature called a "Vampire", and his experience had fit the stories and rumors of one existing. Armand felt ill for several days, until the vampire that turned him told him how to survive, drinking blood. Armand was hesitant, but after his first drink, he reverted to his demonic instincts. The hatred for his Father became reborn in his mind, partly because he was no longer struggling for his life, but mostly because Armand could now sense him. Armand followed the stench that was his Father's blood until he tracked him down, in an icy tundra. The rematch ended in Armand's favor, but not before Dämon could blast Armand in the face, leaving a scar that went down his entire face.

After killing his Father, Armand vanished for hundreds of years. Eventually, when Armand awoke, things had changed substantially. Armand had to adapt to this new time, so he made several friends for some time. This included a male named Angel, who wanted nothing more than to become a Vampire. He taught Angel all of the things that he had learned in his lifetime, and trained him to use his own abilities. Angel regarded Armand as the most powerful being in the world, and with good reason. Armand and Angel had gone years without any struggles in conflict. This was until they reunited with Armand's Brother, Astaroth. Astaroth had defeated them both, sparring them to fight another day. Soon after, Armand lost a meal of a boar to a cloaked stranger, baring the insignia of two scythes crossing. Armand became interested in this stranger, and soon realized that this organization housed her weak Sister, Xusha. Armand kept it in mind to watch Xusha, as well as Astaroth. His present location is unknown, but he will soon see to it that this fact is changed.

*A family name that would literally translate as "Prince".
**The name of Armand, Xusha, and Astaroth's Father. The literal meaning is "Demon".
