Izanami - Sword

Zanpakutou Name: Izanmi

Zanpakutou Element: Lightning/Wind

Sealed Description: Izanami is a simple, slightly curved Katana. The blade is a carbon black, with the sharper ends being a bright steel. The handle of this particular sword is dark black, dense wood wrapped in a soft black fabricwith an underlying dark red cloth. Within the carbon black steel, are small, white markings. Most of which are just simple designs Sakura her self carved them one day out of curiosity. When her knife struck the black carbon, the underlying metal was white. This unknown metal also reacts differently then most swords when it comes to bloodshed. When blood touches this weapon, it practically slides straight off of the steel without any stain or drop left.

Incantation To Release: "Make The Heavens Shine Bright, Izanami!"

Shikai Description: The Shikai of this sword is unlike most others in the sense that it not only changes the look of the sword, but of her clothing. When the sword changes, it goes from a Katana shape to more of a futuristic broadsword. The handle gains a more steel form, with grips laid into it. One side of the sword is a steel color, while the other is the same carbon black with a strip of red steel in the middle. With the sword changes, her outfit is also changed. Over top of her usual clothing is a steel suit of armor. Over her shins are steel covers, while over her chest is a small chest plate. On each arm is a hard steel gauntlet with blade like "claws" on each finger. All the steel is very light weight and form fitting. The back of her chest plate has a long, flowing white cape behing it on each shoulder, somewhat resembling a pair of wings.

Bankai Description: Bankai has never been reached, although Sakura has had a dream of unleashing it once before, and most dreams of Bankai are actually images the sword is implanting into the owners head. She dreamed it would not change in form from Shikai, but it would change her apparel more drastically. Added onto the steel chest plate would be a set of large, steel wings. Her gauntlets also change in size, with a large elbo blade coming out of each.

Spirit Description: The spirit of Izanami is a white eagle with black wings. This eagle stands at 3 foot tall, and it's talons are covered in steel boots. Most of the time though, this spirit doesn't need to speak to Sakura.
